iWanna iTouch the iPad

With the huge success of Apples' iPod Touch and iPhone, and not to mention the thousands of apps released for them, it was only a matter of time before they needed to take it to the next level. And they've done it. And it was called, The iPad. And CEO Steve Jobs looked upon his creation and said, "It is good."

Sporting a whopping 9.7 inch LED-backlit IPS display, this baby looks like a iPhone on steroids. Or some other serious medication used to enhance....the size...of.....things.
Ahem. So its also going to be super light weighing just 1.5 pounds at only 0.5 inches thick! And with a battery life set for 10 hours, you'll have plenty of time to play with the unique version of iTunes customized specifically for the iPad, as well as the iBookstore, Apples' new category they're adding to their online stores.

It's also going to be able to run all 140,000+ apps currently available including ones you may already own on your iPod or iPhone, which you will be albe to transfer to your iPad. Apple has also decided to stick with AT&T as their carrier with data plans coming in at $14.99 a month for up to 250 MB, or $29.99 for unlimited data and you wont need a contract for either. "Please! Please can I get one honey! It's only $499!" Thats right the iPad will be starting at only $499 for the most basic model, including 16 GB of storage with no 3G, and going all the way up to $829 for 64 GB of storage with 3G.

Even with all the great features the iPad has I still can't help but wonder how this will be any different from my iPod Touch or iPhone. And then I remember the screen. Mmmmmm 9.7 inches. That's a good number.

Unfortunately it will still be another two months before the 3G-less version is available to purchase, and another month after that for the 3G verisions. For more information
